On April 22-24, a Chinese delegation headed by Mr.Hu Deping, Vice Minister of Central United Front Work and Chairman of China-Africa Business Council,visited Uganda. During the visit Mr.Hu met Uganda Vice President Prof.Gilbert Bukenya and the heads of Ministry of Tourism, Trade and Industry, Ministry of Energy & Mineral Development. They held a wide range of discussions regarding economic cooperation opportunities between China and Uganda. The visit is satisfying and results in a pleasant basis for further economic cooperation between the two countries.
